DAY 4 - LISBON, CACAIS, SINTRA

See pictures from dinner last night - Club Luso - fado music and dancing, very entertaining and lots of fun. Today, we toured Lisbon in the morning and the beaches in the afternoon.

Kate & Alyssa - in Lisbon at the cathedral see my pictures of the portugese children on field trip drawing the carvings and doors of the cathedral. I asked one little girl if I could take a picture of her drawing, see how good.

I have lots of pictures of beaches and everything, just can't post them all. I have to tell you that I have been to 7 countries and Hawaii and Puerto Rico and Portugal is the only country I have fallen in love with. All the houses are beautiful colors and covered in gorgeous tiles. All the streets are stone and tile. No way to describe how really pretty it is. The best part is that I can breathe - for some reason the air seems crystal clear and I have not been able to breathe like this in years. Also what they say about jet lag (that it lasts 3 days) is true - today is the first day I've been out of the fog.

We go to Seville tomorrow, supposed to be the best part of the trip. Don't see how it could be any better. I'm so glad I did this, ranks as one of the best experiences I've had.
